The Night Before

It is the night before and my baby is sleeping peacefully on the couch on his favorite blanket. Little does he know that his life is about to change forever tomorrow. My heart is breaking for my sweet mush ball that he has to go through this. As if being surrendered at 4 years old for no reason, having to live in the vet’s office for two years waiting for someone to take him in, having a seizure disorder, and having UTI issues isn’t enough, now he has to go through this. He is the center of our household, anyone that walks through the door knows to talk to E first and then say hi to everyone else. He never leaves the family room, because all he wants out of life is someone close by to meow at and flop up against. He is never not in the center of the room, he is not a cat you ever have to go looking for. He is my 22 pound love bug, the reason I love coming home at night. Choking back the tears is understatement at what is about to come. Please keep us all in thoughts and well wishes as surgery is scheduled for noon tomorrow.
